Planer - thicknessers

For almost 25 years Robland has gained experience in building sturdy, high quality and highly reliable, yet affordable planer-thicknessers.

Our iron cast tables have a scraped surface to insure a very high degree of flatness. Microgrooves have been applied for easy gliding of the wooden work piece on the cast iron table.

The XSD and NXSD Series are basically the planer-thicknesser modules of the HX and NX combination machines and are available in single phase as well. On these models the heavy cast iron tables open up in butterfly wings to allow for easy access to the thicknesser despite of the long planer tables.
The SD410 and SD510 are heavy duty machines with strong springs allowing for an easy handling of the very heavy cast iron planer tables and with four maintenance free pillars to support the ticknesser table ensuring a horizontal position of it even under a heavy, uneven load.

All Robland planer-thicknessers are being developed and manufactured in our factory located in Bruges, Belgium. As we also manufacture over 85% of our parts, spare parts are still available decades after the product launch.
